Together we aim to: Worship God; Grow in the Spirit; Proclaim Jesus; Serve the World

250 Burnage Lane, Burnage

St Margaret's Church an Evangelical Anglican Church situated in the heart of Burnage. Part of Manchester Diocese the church here has been a worshipping community since 1875. Our worship is alive and varied. We try to enable everyone in our Church family to offer, share and develop their gifts within our worship times and in their Christian living. People of all ages are welcome and we encourage families to worship together.

As an Evangelical church we try to learn and teach what the Bible has to say to us, and our sermons and home-groups reflect that aim.

As a family we aim to grow spiritually together and we have a range of groups to suit all ages from the Urban Saints groups for younger children, to youth group, a variety of home groups and Tuesday group for the over 50’s young-at-heart.

We are active within the community of Burnage but we are also aware of the needs of the wider world and we are dedicated to support our mission links by our giving and through our prayers.

We believe in the power of prayer to change our world and to bring God’s healing into people’s lives. We have three dedicated prayer meetings each week; we have a team who pray for people on our streets and we offer prayer ministry within our communion services.

If you are looking for somewhere to worship or if you would like to know more about Jesus, come and join us, and you will be made very welcome.

Meet Our Team

St Margaret's like any other organisation is not one person or building, it is a joint effort between many individuals, voluntary and paid who give up time to carry out God's work locally and further afield.
