THE TEAM

The Rev Matthew Calladine is our Rector. He joined St Margaret's in November 2016. Matt's wife, Jo, who is also ordained, works as a prison chaplain. They have two teenage children. Matt has 'green fingers' and loves gardening. He also enjoys cooking, music (especially the Beatles), keeping fit and spending time with his family. He also tries to have 1 week of skiing a year.

To get in touch with Matt you can call him direct at the Rectory on 0161 432 1844. Please get in touch if you need to make any baptism, wedding or funeral enquiries.

Chris is also a Church Warden. He is originally from North Devon and came to Manchester as a student in 1982. He and Helen have lived in Burnage for 25 years
and raised their family here. Chris still works part time as an electronics engineer.

He loves to see people grow in their faith in God and live that faith out in everyday life. He is interested in community issues and buildings- including how they can use less energy. He relaxes by doing all sorts of things outdoors, making and listening to music. He also follows City.
